3D laser cutting takes advantage of the flexibility of the laser tool and applies it to complex three-dimensional parts that can be processed thanks to highly technological multi-axis machines.
The fibre laser technology, used in the Prima Power 3D laser cutting machines, allows this flexibility while still granting high levels of productivity, quality and efficiency with low maintenance requirements.
The features of the fiber laser source allow Prima Power 3D laser cutting machines to be suited for a wide range of materials, mainly high-strength steels: in fact, to improve vehicle safety and reduce fuel consumption in the automotive industry, the manufacturing of lightweight body parts from high-strength steels (HSS) has rapidly increased and the 3D laser cutting is the ideal solution to respond to this market request.
Thanks to 3D laser technology, various applications are possible, such as cutting complex shapes, welding, and precision drilling.
